Favorite Protein Powders
Protein powder is important for those who take fitness seriously. It helps towards muscle growth and repair after a workout, and has many beneficial properties included. It is also a great meal replacement when you are low on time or are looking for something other than your normal chicken or turkey breast. There are several different protein powders out there that include Whey, Casien, Soy, and Vegetable. But what about brands? There are SO many brands on the market today, how do you know which one to choose? Well I have done the research. I have tried MANY different protein powders in search of the one that is relatively low in calories, a moderate amount of protein, low in sugar and low in carbohydrates. I also like to be able to mix my protein powder with water instead of milk in order to keep my macronutrients (protein, carbs, fat) in check. This makes a HUGE difference when selecting the perfect protein powder. Here are my Top 3 choices.
